It's not snowing here

I'm looking at pictures on Facebook and hearing about 'snowmageddon' back home and have maybe just a slight.. VERY slight.. twinge of jealousy.  For a split second I thought it would be nice to hunker down in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine and some sort of yummy comfort food like beef stew, or chili.  But then, my fantasy bubble pops and all I can see is my fabulous view, the sun and an 85 degree temperature.  Ahh, I'll take this thank you very much.  :)

With all that in mind, the family will be heading over to our Chicago friends house this afternoon to help them decorate their Christmas tree and bake cookies.  So despite the lack of frigid temperatures and snow up to the knee caps, we WILL be festive!

Hopefully I can take some pics and post them later.

Enjoy the snow everyone!  Make a snow angel for me!

    Darling Mary...I think if I tried to make a snow angel in 20" of snow, I might not get back up...

    However, your family photos are PERFECT! Also, is Ian walking? Like, walking walking?

    Great family pictures, not ever to be forgotten. So glad you were able to decorate a tree and make cookies with friends. The holiday spirit definitely doesn't need snow.
